"June 2, 2007. Arrival for my first bear hunt. Met wonderful friendly people. The lake is beautiful. The French language is starting to come back to me. I "studied" it the better part of 50 years ago, so anything I remember is a plus. I did get a very nice bear, my first ever ! I caught some nice pike, and ate "lots" of wonderful food. Thanks to all for the great experience. Thank you God for this wonderful trip, and bless us all until we meet again !"
